Privacy Notice

Last updated August 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Notice explains how The Lime Agency LLC ("The Lime Agency," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Concept Validation Engine (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password.
  • Billing/invoicing information — company name, address, province/region/state, postal code, country, and tax ID/VAT number, collected at registration or in your profile, used to generate invoices for purchases.
  • Payment information — processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor; we do not store your full card number ourselves.
  • Content you submit — concept descriptions, documents, and other material you provide to run a validation.
  • Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, and similar technical/log data collected automatically via your session.

3. How AI Agents Process Information

To generate Output, the Service's AI agents process the concept information you submit together with data gathered from the public web. Your submitted content is sent to third-party AI model providers (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Perplexity) solely to generate your Output, and is not used by us to train our own models. See our Terms of Use for more on the nature of Output.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate the Service and generate your Output.
  • Process payments and generate invoices.
  • Communicate with you about your account or purchases.
  • Maintain the security of the Service and prevent abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service — payment processing (Stripe), AI model providers (to generate Output, as described in Section 3), and infrastructure/hosting providers — and where required by law.

Your validation runs and their Output are visible only to you. We do not share your runs or Output with other users of the Service, and no other user can view, access, or export your runs or Output. Authorized Lime Agency personnel may access runs and Output solely to provide technical support, investigate abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Cookies & Sessions

The Service uses a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF-protection cookie to secure form submissions. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

7. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your runs and billing information are deleted along with it, except where we are required to retain records (for example, payment records) for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

8. Your Rights

You can review and update most of your account and billing information directly from your profile page. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask questions about this Notice, via the Contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example, GDPR or CCPA).

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage of sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Notice.

12. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Notice can be sent via the Contact page.
